About Me
Hello, I'm Derrick Ellison (They/Them)
I'm an freelance audio engineer working in Hudson Valley area. I've been involved with theater since I was 12 from performing on the stage and working behind the scenes. I got to find what im really passionate about. Working with sounds and finding the right aural quality for moment. Creating sound scapes of season changing or a busy 1940s NYC street scene. Playing around with foley sound effects to get that precise sound. It all pays off when the audio builds underneath the actor to bring the story to life.
